Nature of Self
Through the use of visual metaphors and textures found in nature, such as the intricate patterns and textures of tree bark and thorns or the delicate stages of a flower’s lifecycle, I have created an abstract representation of the complex and multifaceted nature of ‘self’. Each photograph in this series represents a unique aspect of my identity, from the peaceful moments of reflection to the chaotic and unpredictable experiences that shape who I am.
By capturing the beauty of the natural world, I hope to offer a glimpse into the complexities and nuances of my own inner world, including the rough and prickly parts that contribute to the whole, and ultimately invite viewers to explore their own sense of self through the lens of nature.
